First let me just start this with...we are not a watch wearing family. Neither my husband or I like new modern digital watches nor do we like to be on a time restraint. But my husband and I were both super excited to be able to get a watch from JORD. They make high quality wooden watches. My husband and I are both artists so we were just fascinated by the beautiful designs JORD has to offer. Each watch is handcrafted by an artist, designer and watch smith. Each watch is made with a beautiful sustainably sourced wood from all over the world.

We just loved the excellent quality of this watch. It's a beautiful Cherry and Maple wood. The patterns in the wood are just lovely. We chose the Sully because of the beautiful contrast of the wood colors. The blend so well but also stand out apart from the other. We spend a lot of our time outdoors hiking, and fishing and so we love how this watch blends into the beauty of the outdoors and doesn't stand out and scream HEY look at this technology. The clasp is easy to open, but stays shut while wearing it. It has a push button that is simple to open one handed. It's made from Stainless Steel which is wonderful for people with different metal allergies. It's also good because it will not rust or oxidize and is easy to keep clean. The face plate of the watch is just beautiful, its large and has easy to read numbers. The watch hands are also a large size which makes it easy to tell time and quickly.

JORD recommends the following for cleanings. Start with mixing two tablespoons each of olive oil and lemon juice. Apply a small amount to a soft cotton cloth. Wring the cloth to spread the mixture further into the material and apply to the wood using brisk strokes (this helps distribute the oil evenly). You may also apply a natural coating such as beeswax, butcher block oil, or walnut oil to the watch. Doing this on a regular basis will protect against damage and improve the durability of the wood while helping to maintain the moisture balance. This in turn prevents drying or cracking of your wood watch.

JORD sized the watch prior to it's shipment so it fits my husband perfectly. It is always recommended to take something of this quality to a reputable jeweler for repairs or a change in size. JORD also supplies a 12 month warranty to be free from defects in material or workmanship. The cost of this watch in my opinion is very good. This watch retails for $130 and I believe is worth every penny and more. It will last for years and years with good care.

I am just fascinated with this elegant JORD watch. My husband has not stopped wearing it since it's arrival and I am jealous I don't have one of my own. The craftsmanship is just unmatched in any watch either of us has ever owned previously. I have never in my life seen my husband wear a watch on a regular basis until now. You can use it to peel...for potatoes, carrots, fruit, etc. It's got a nice wide blade and peels with ease. No dragging or pulling.

As it has a dual feature you can also use it to Julienne. We use this part, the most. It's perfect for salads, veggies in pasta, making faces and fun food for your younger picky eaters. It's a good way to add some veggies to a child's diet that wouldn't eat them whole. To them this is just a colored addition and that's just fun.

My house is full of children, eight to be exact. Seven of my children love books. They will sit all day and read. We have more books than we do toys, and have since they were babies. So you can imagine my excitement when I heard about BabyLit. BabyLit are books for babies and small children inspired by the classics. You can find books like The Secret Garden, Huckleberry Finn, Jane Eyre, and Anna Karenina. Most of the books are board books , but they also have picture books and hardcovers. My children (and me and dad) love all of the classics so this was super exciting.

I chose Edgar Gets Ready for Bed, inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven.” as the book I wanted to read. My first book the post office destroyed. I was so sad because you can not believe how awesome it looked. The gracious people at BabyLit not only replaced it but also sent me Edgar and the Tattle-Tale Heart, Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart,”. Now that is awesome customer service. I had kids fighting over these books. From 16 years old down to my 2 year old and no I am not kidding. My kids think these are the coolest books they have ever seen and want to start a collection. I am "NOT" complaining.

Edgar Gets Ready for Bed is so funny. The book is all about how Edgar doesn't want to finish up dinnertime, clean up and bedtime. His answer to everything is NEVERMORE. He is very contrary and needs his mom to get him settled down. One of the reasons this book appeals to me is Edgar and my 2 year old Nikolas could be bosom buddies. They have the same grumpy attitude until the books come out at bedtime.

As you can see my 9 year old Thomas quickly latched onto Edgar and the Tattle-Tale Heart. Thomas is dyslexic so he struggles with reading. He is the only one of the 8 kids that doesn't love to read. As you can imagine I was thrilled to see him interested in a book. Both of these books are on the top of his favorite's list now. It also gave him a whole new understanding of his older sisters love for Edgar Allan Poe. In Edgar and the Tattle-Tale Heart, mischievous Edgar breaks a statue and you find out about the lesson that he learns.

I have not been as impressed with a children's book in a very long time. These are both wonderful books filled with stories from the classics they are based upon. They instill a love of learning from the youngest baby to even us grown adults. They illustrations are beautiful and not in the least bit overwhelming. I can not wait to get my hands on each and every one. The next one's on our list are Don Quixote and Dracula.

~Review~ Petunia Skincare Derma Roller, Serum, Eye Gel & Makeup Brushes

I received three different products to try from Petunia Skincare. Let's start off with the Petunia Skincare Derma Roller 540 Needles 1.0mm. I learned quick that going slow and being careful is best with this! I was terrified to try this, honestly! But it really doesn't hurt. It almost feels good. You should wash your face before each use, then carefully roll and then follow up with moisturizer, serum, etc. I have only been using for a few days but it feels good and my face feels nice. I plan on continuing to use it and see the results.

Next was the Petunia Skincare Hyaluronic Acid Serum. This was a very nice and rather powerful moisturizer. If used daily it reduces your dry damaged skin to a nice healthy moisture full glow. It will reduce lines and wrinkles on your skin. It's a great daily ritual.

Lastly I got the Petunia Skincare Eye Serum. It comes in a nice bottle that's just the right size. This bottle is small enough to take on the go but big enough to last a long time. The serum is refreshing and feels so good on your sore puffy eyes. You can use it multiple times a day and it is not sticky at all. I am allergic to coconut so my daughter tested this one.

Lastly there are these absolutely wonderful set of Professional Makeup Brushes. This comes in a really nice case that rolls closed. This is a 12 pc set that includes a Spoolie Brush, Lip Brush with a LID that goes over it, a Sponge applicator, Eyeliner brush, Eyebrow brush, Concealer brush, Fan brush, Smudge brush, Eyeshadow brush, Foundation brush, Blush brush and Powder brush. Each brush is handmade with Natural and synthetic fibers. They come individually packaged. They are super soft, easy to clean and your makeup goes on flawlessly. This is my favorite set of brushes I've used so far.

~Review~ GrillFella BBQ Wok

I was very impressed with this GrillFella BBQ Wok from the moment I opened the box. It's made of carbon steel and has a lovely copper finish. My only lament is that it's been too cold to grill. So I used it inside instead. This comes with Silicone Heat Pads, the wok, two s hooks and the divider inserts.

I love the removable inserts. You can divide your food from one to four sections depending on what your cooking. Not to mention that this makes clean up of the wok super easy. The sides on this wok are high enough to toss around your meat or veggies without them ending up in your grill or on the ground.

They also included little heat pads for free. Those come in so handy for removal from the grill. No burns happening here. They make excellent jar openers also because they have a large grip on them.

The holes on this GrillFella BBQ Wok are pretty small making veggie or meat loss pretty much none existent.

~Review~ Garlic Press & Peeler

What a nice set. This comes in a nice fabric lined box and includes a Garlic Press and Peeler by Alpha Grillers. The solid stainless steel garlic press is very nice. It is dishwasher safe and has a a wide handle for you to hold. It's very easy to press so no sore palms. The garlic comes out minus the peel. So no need to peel at all.

The peeler is silicone for using sliced or whole garlic cloves. This is a quick way to peel for me. My husband would not agree he loves the beat it with a knife version. I think I like the peeler to save my counter tops.

Do you hate the smell left on your hands from garlic? The press will keep that from happening. Also it keeps the peel out of your garlic and you can just toss it out when your done. NO fighting with the peel any longer. I think this is a good value and I know I will be using it often. Hubby will also..after all the manly grunting! This is like your own personal digital photo frame. But you can see your photo's from Instagram instead. The #Cube will stream your photo's directly from your Instagram account to itself. It has a very nice sized screen for viewing. You'll be able to see it even at a distance. You can also from the screen like photos, and search for hashtags. It holds a charge for about a day, so you can charge it at night when no one would be viewing it anyhow.

I personally think this would be fun for kids. I would use it for an account to have them send photos to grandma or dad overseas, far away relatives...or something of that nature. Although it may be a bit confusing for grandma if she isn't tech savvy. I would recommend setting it up for her. It was quite pricey at $150 but it will get your photo's instantly unlike a digital frame. I think it could be quite fun!

The DrainWig PREVENTS hair from clogging the shower drain! It's the only preventative product on the market that traps hair-out of sight-in the drain's p-trap. Inserting and removing the DrainWig is quick and easy and you never have to touch the nasty hair! Just feed the DrainWig through the shower drain cover and wait 2-5 months. As hair enters the drain's p-trap, it floats and spins on top of the water. The DrainWig's ball chain and rubber whiskers catch and secure the hair. The tangled hair remains on the chain and out of sight until you are ready to remove the clump of hair. Extract the DrainWig, without removing the drain cover or touching the hair, by pulling the plastic flower cap. The entangled hair will easily slide out of the drain for quick disposal-no plumber needed! The DrainWig can also be used for bathtubs showers. First, remove the bathtub drain stopper and keep it in a safe place. Turn on the water, insert the chain in the bathtub drain and guide the rubber whiskers into the hole, letting the water carry the chain down the drain. Make sure the chain doesn't get caught on the crossbars! The plastic flower cap will lay flush with the drain where the stopper used to be. Unfortunately, you cannot use the DrainWig while filling up the bathtub. They are coming up with a new design to use while bathing. Be sure to clear any existing clogs before inserting the DrainWig. ~Review~ Epica 3pc Ash Bucket

I was especially pleased with this Ash Bucket Set by Epica. My fisrt thought when I opened the box was at how much bigger and nicer than I thought it would be.

It holds a lot. According to the product information it will hold 6 gallons. I just know you can clean out your fireplace a few times before it needs to be emptied. It was a very nice scoop, it's perfect for a smaller wood burning stove. The scoop holder is built right onto the side of the bucket. It just slides in. It's also has a very nice looking finish, a matte black that blends in well next to our wood burning stove. It comes with a handled lid to keep ash from flying around.

This bucket is not heavy and has a nice sturdy handle. It doesn't hurt your hands to carry. It weighs about 5 1/2 pounds when empty.

The price is really good for this set and I think it's a very good deal. I would most certainly buy another one. You can buy the Epica 3pc Ash Bucket Set on Amazon.

~Review~ MeasuPro Ultra-Fast & Programmable Cooking Thermometers

Wonderful digital thermometers by MeasuPro. I received both the MeasuPro Ultra-Fast Cooking Thermometer and the MeasuPro Programmable Cooking Thermometer to test. They are both really nice.

I mainly have used the Programmable one. It has settings for all sorts of meats including veal and duck. The absolute best part of these is that you no longer need to open the oven to use either of them. Insert the probe into the meat and put the digital part on the counter while the meat cooks. They have a super long cord that can also be removed for washing. The cord is also very thin so the oven door stays closed and no heat escapes.

They both have a good clear digital view screen, the buttons are easy to use and self explanatory, not confusing at all. They both fold flat for storing. The alert is also loud enough to hear from another room so there is no need to check it.

These are a really nice product. I would buy either of them again to use. Just for the ease of not opening the oven door alone. You can buy either one on Amazon
