Do you ever get tired of walking in the store for a toothbrush and then spending an hour trying to decide what kind would work the best? Don't you miss the days when all you had to think about was how hard the bristles were and maybe the color? Me too! I hate toothbrush shopping these days. I can get battery operated, plug-in, stickered, different shapes and the prices, holy moly.

These Sound Feelings toothbrushes are flat and fit all of your teeth, not just some. Many new fangled toothbrushes only hit all of some of your teeth making brushing almost pointless. Many of them are also not very gentle and can hurt you if not used properly. We have had these toothbrushes a few weeks now and I am really happy as is my family. For once I have counter space instead of a million plug-in and battery operated toothbrushes that we all hate to use but feel we need.

The Sound Feelings toothbrushes come in extra soft, soft, hard and even a version for the kids. A four pack is less than the cost of one new fangled toothbrush and if you're not sure what thickness to try, they even have a sample pack so you can try them all. Don't risk messing up your gums forever, go back to the basics. Sometimes things just do not need to be fixed! My house 100% approves. Also as a note, if your kids miss those fancy train and mickey mouse toothbrushes, just buy some stickers and let them attach them. Problem solved and still much cheaper.

Healthy Summer Snack with Lebice Popsicle Molds

We have all had those summer days...You know the ones. Mom I'm hot, mom I'm hungry, mom there is nothing good to eat. I am not a fan of processed anything and I don't buy it. But, I also don't feel well most days and am not about to make my kid's fruit pizza without passing out and not functioning the rest of the day. There has to be a better snack. My kids (and I) love ice cream and popsicles but so much of it is so bad for you. What can you do? I remember when I was a kid filling up some ice cube trays with Koolaid and toothpicks. Those lasted about two seconds and tasted disgusting.

My solution fruit and juice popsicles. If you're really feeling creative you can do fruit and yogurt bars. These popsicle molds from Lebice were perfect for curing my kid's cravings. They love fruit but after a month of summer are tired of just a plain ol' apple for a snack. We added some yogurt and caramel here and there but that's always a huge mess with two toddlers and not so easy to clean up. So after I received these, I tried some fun recipes for a refreshing summer treat for me, and for the kids. Make sure when you start that your molds are firmly attached to the tray. Let your kids help to also turn this into a fun project. They can snack while they wait.

Apple Juice Bars-

Apple Juice (Organic or hand pressed if possible. If not water it down.)

Chopped up apples or apple slivers.

Place apples in the bottom of your popsicle mold. Add the juice almost all the way to the top, leave just a smidge of room for the handle.

Freeze

Yogurt & Fruit Bars-

Vanilla Yogurt

Fruit slivers (we like strawberry and kiwi)

Pour a small amount of yogurt, then fruit, then repeat. Again fill almost to the top.

Freeze

Bananarama Fruit Smoothie Bars-

Add juice to your blender (We like cranberry)

Add bananas and pitted cherries to your blender. Blend until liquid.

Again fill almost to the top of your mold.

Freeze

Once frozen you have an awesome tasting, cold, healthy treat. Your little kids will be fascinated, and you will have provided a great homeschooling experiment. Your older children will appreciate having a cold snack on a hot day. The popsicle molds have a tray on the bottom to keep your smaller kids from losing all their popsicles, but the beauty of this snack is, not much sugar or sticky liquid so even if they do spill your not having to give them a bath and run around washing them before they put sticky hands all over your house.

The set is inexpensive and comes with a silicone funnel which was really helpful. It also comes with a cleaning brush, although it could use a slightly longer handle. This is one of the best sets I have received and is much nicer than those silicone sets, or using your ice cube tray. They also clean really easy. Do you want a set of your own? Get Healthy with Ultra Pure Omega 3 Fish Oil Capsules

I received this at no cost for my honest and unbiased review.

I am always on the lookout for new and better supplements to try. I have so many medical problems I couldn't even list them all. So while I do have to be careful many of the basics work just fine. I received the Ultra Pure Omega 3 Fish Oil Capsules a couple weeks ago. Your daily amount is 2250mg and three soft gel capsules. That is always so helpful for me as I have a very hard time swallowing pills, especially anything large or with a hard coating. These are a soft gel so they just slide right down. No choking or gagging necessary. The bottle comes with enough of a supply for a full forty days which is really unusual and gives you some time to re-order when a month is up.

Taking these Omega 3 Fish Oil Capsules was easy. They go down fast and don't taste bad. They are fish oil capsules though so you will have some aftertaste, just nothing up front. The best way to take these is with meals and that will also eliminate that crazy taste. This Fish Oil is chalk full of DHA and both are so good for you. They have so many healthy properties. It's wonderful for your brain, can help increase good cholesterol and not that bad kind. Also, can help you with dry eyes and maintaining your eyesight. There is a reason grandma takes Omega 3, and doesn't she always know better than we do?

I have certainly noticed a change in how I feel following using these. I have a bit more pep to my step and less fatigue. They seem to work well and I will certainly be getting them for many more months.

Now don't think taking these Ultra Pure Omega 3 Fish Oil Capsules will be a cure all. It's still very important to eat healthy and exercise. Some great tips to use with your Fish Oil are to eat your nuts and greens. Just add a small handful of unsalted nuts a day to your diet and a portion of leafy green veggies daily. Don't forget those eight glasses of water a day to stay hydrated. Following a healthy diet, and drinking your water, follow up with some daily exercise. It doesn't need to be much. Start off your morning with some light stretching and yoga, take an evening walk with your partner and get talking. Communication is also a key to being healthy. Don't forget about it!

Our Favorite Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffusers & Cleaning Tips!

I have been asked a few times which Essential Oil Diffusers I use. I actually have one to two in every room in my house so I use a lot. But I thought I would let you all see a few of my favorites and why I chose them. I love using a Diffuser. Using Essential Oils topically or ingesting them can be very dangerous if you do not know how to use them properly. So this can be the best and most safe way to use them, especially for new Essential Oil enthusiasts.

Hands down my absolute favorite Essential Oil Diffuser is the BellaSentials Bamboo Diffuser. I love the sleek look of it. My house is done in primitive antiques and most of those white cone diffusers just look so goofy sitting around. This wood looking one just blends in with everything else. It also runs for a full day or night. It can hold 400ML of water where most only hold around 150ML. It has an automatic shutoff and subtle rotating lights that can be turned off. It also (the Dark Bamboo) doesn't beep when it turns off, so it's great for a bedroom. I use mine in the living room and the master bedroom because it's best for a large room. It's also a really good price for the size and look. This is what I would call a classier kind of Diffuser! I own three and have given away a number as gifts. This Diffuser is also BPA free and so that is a huge plus! You can get the BellaSentials Bamboo Diffuser on Amazon HERE.

My second favorite Essential Oil Diffuser is the InstaNatural Diffuser. This Diffuser is all white with a color changing top. It will rotate soft and soothing color as long as it is on. You can leave on one color, or turn the lights off. This diffuser is perfect for a small room and very simple. I use mine in the bathroom. It has a strong mist output and also has an automatic shutoff. It holds 100ML of water so is perfect for such a small room. It would work great in a bathroom, hallway, office or laundry room. I have had this Diffuser the longest and have had no trouble with it ever and that is what makes it my second favorite. It is also BPA free!! You can get the InsaNatural Diffuser on Amazon HERE.

My third favorite Essential Oil Diffuser is the ZAQ Paradise Glass Essential Oil Diffuser. Now this is not your normal diffuser, more of a statement of art. It's a large glass dome and has rotating colors. You can also leave on one color or shut them off. It also has the automatic shutoff feature. I have this one by itself on a table where we do our work and homeschooling. Do not order this thinking it will fit on a table with a ton of other stuff, or your bedside table. This diffuser is HUGE to look at and holds 200ML of water so lasts around 6 hours or half a day. The interior of the Diffuser is plastic but you only can see the glass dome. It also works as an ionizer. The price is really good considering what you're getting. It's perfect for a living room, or open space. You can get the ZAQ Paradise Glass Diffuser on Amazon HERE.

Cleaning your Essential Oil Diffuser is JUST as important as cleaning your body. If you do not clean them regularly the oils can destroy them, clog them or literally cause them to come apart when using citrus oils. I have tried numerous ways to clean but I have found these are the best.

Clean out weekly with a soft cloth or paper towel dipped in white distilled vinegar. Use a q-tip to clean the little tights spots and to remove harder oils. This is ESPECIALLY important if you use mainly citrus oils. Some diffusers state to not use them at all, although I know these three with regular cleaning has been no problem. DO NOT ever let citrus oils sit in your plastic diffuser without water. It's unhealthy because they will literally make the plastic come apart and will break your diffuser.

Sometimes you will find even with regular cleaning your diffuser will stop running. Normally the motor will not come on but you have lights. If this is the case (or you know your lax about cleaning weekly) try pouring a small amount of white distilled vinegar in your diffuser and then turn it on. Only let it run for a minute or two, any longer could damage it. Pour out the vinegar and replace with just water and also let that run for a minute or two. You should then be good to go and are free to use as normal.

Did you accidentally over pour water into your diffuser and now it won't work right, bubbles over or puddles? A pretty easy fix to this is to remove all the water and let your diffuser air dry. Once it's totally dry, try it again and it should work just fine. Be careful to never overfill because this can ruin your diffuser forever.

How Essential Oils have Changed my Life!

Essential Oils are a recently new hobby of mine. As many of you know I have fibromyalgia and Lupus and all the pain, stress, anxiety and depression that come with them. I used to take tons and tons of script medications. I spent months in bed, years even. One day I was having to take so many pills a day that I started having trouble breathing. That was it, I was scared. I mean I knew for years how bad these supposed medicines were for the rest of my body. But knowing and KNOWING are two different things. From that day forward I started taking my medication only when my pain and anxiety were so severe that I could not function. Around the same time as that we moved back to the west. Away from the humidity it became a bit easier for me to just stop taking them. I went from up to 12 pain pills a day to none on most days and one on bad days. I started going places again and I quit taking basically everything else I was given. So I went from taking like 20 pills a day to a single pain pill, and something for Restless Leg Syndrome maybe 2 times a week. I started paying more attention to my body and the signs of a bad day to come. I stayed home and took nothing when I could do so. I got my life back basically. I went from doing nothing 6 to days a week to doing nothing maybe 1 day a week, at the maximum two.

Not long after we decided to move back to the midwest and the humidity. Most of my problems came rushing back, although I did try harder than previously, and not let them bother me. One day a friend of my moms came over and began telling me how she used herbs and essential oils for her problems. She was much older than me but I have learned over the years those are the people who know what kind of pain I am going through. I was fascinated listening to her talk. Something that could help me, without killing my liver and kidneys? I started looking into it a bit but was kind of scared of the cost. Then I started working for a company who sells Essential Oil Diffusers. THAT was the day that without a doubt changed and probably saved my life. As hard as I tried to not take all those horrid pills I was hurting mentally and physically and desperate for help. I got a diffuser and a couple different oils. At first I just used them to replace my candles. I laugh at myself now because well Essential Oils may smell wonderful but they do so much more than make your house smell nice. After a bit of time I started noticing I wasn't as depressed. I noticed I wasn't near as stressed or anxious. I noticed that while I was in a ton of pain still, I was handling it. Why? What could possibly have caused that? Nothing had changed in my life or so I thought. As I moved around in my job I started reading more about essential oils and realized, it's the oils....this whole time the oils were helping me and I had no idea.

Up to this point I had mainly been using Citrus Oils, Peppermint, common oils. Then one day a bottle of Clary Sage arrived in the mail. One sniff and I felt all my anxiety just melt away. I honestly had no idea what it was even good for. Needless to say I now keep a bottle in my purse, and by my bed. I use clove and a few others for my pain, and yes it helps just as much as anything else does. I just rub it in or mix with a carrier oil. I am allergic to coconut so I use grapeseed oil instead. I use Essential Oils everyday in my Diffusers. I have one in each room, and no they are not all super expensive. I use BellaSentials the most because they are so nice looking, but I also like Zaq Diffusers. It's become a routine in my house to get up, start the diffusers along with the coffee or tea.

Soon after I started using diffusers I started buying (and making) Essential Oil jewelry. There are a ton of them out there but BellaSentials just started carrying these new ones that are so different and cute. They even have a Diffuser for your car. All you do for these is put a couple drops of oil on the included pads and you're good to go. People ask me all the time also what Essential Oils I use. I prefer Barefut Essential Oils and mainly buy from them. There are a few other good companies like Plant Therapy but Barefut are my favorite. They are cost effective and they have sales on different oils every month. They are totally pure and work just as well as those super expensive brands.
