I love labels, and use them all the time. Normally I slave away making fabric one's and sewing or gluing them on. This takes ages, especially for large projects. So when I was asked to review these Chalkboard Labels by Cestari I knew this would be such a time saver.

These are just so easy. Use your chalk marker (or chalk) and write on a label. Then peel and stick where ever you want it. Don't have a chalkboard marker? Cestari will give you one when you buy the labels FREE! The marker has a very fine tip. It doesn't smear, drip or streak. Yes! They are erasable also. Just use a damp cloth to wipe off. Even better, you can use the Cestari Chalk Pen on glass, mirrors, vinyl, etc.

This Chalkboard Labels by Cestari set includes 52 labels in a few different sizes. This makes them good for any size project from Mason Jars, to drawers, to note's for your kids. Did I mention that they are reusable? You can remove them by heating them up and peeling off, then place where you want them. So if you stick them on crooked the first time, no problem. I love that they have a shaped edge and are not just square, so much prettier.

~DIY & Review~ Deluxe Flickering LED Tea Lights - Primitive DIY Tutorial

Who doesn't love flickering lights? They are such a good mood setting, but candles can be expensive and dangerous. I have used flicker tea lights for years but am in love with these Deluxe Flickering LED Tea Lights by GETCANDLED. They are super cute just how they come but I like to mix it up a little.

Do it Yourself Primitive Flicker Lights

What you Need- Everything can be found at Wallyworld!

A Pan to heat wax in. I prefer one you plug in. Just leave excess wax in for another project.
Wax (Brown if you can find it)
Brown and/or Black coloring
Cinnamon in a small dish or on wax paper.

1-Melt the wax in the pan, not too hot..you don't want to burn yourself.
2-Add a couple drops of brown coloring, and one of black. Add more as needed.

3-Dip lights in the wax and pull out. Immediately roll in cinnamon.
4-Repeat step 3 a couple times till it's the thickness you desire.

These pretty much dry instantly. Put in a dish or on your table...That's it!

I just love canvas. I have the beginnings of a wall full of canvas for my family. I have tried a few different companies since I started a year ago. I must say that from the moment my Canvas n' Decor canvas came in the mail I knew I had found the best one. The photo I sent to them was one I snagged off of my facebook page. I just moved and so do not have my photo's all unpacked yet. So I honestly wasn't expecting it to turn out more than just alright. They did an amazing job.

This is my brand new canvas from Canvas n' Decor.

In the original photo my husband and I have very dark faces. But in the canvas they are much lighter. The canvas itself is exceptionally well made. It's very tightly stretched around a large, thick wood frame. The wire hanger is already attached. Most canvas companies send you a hanger with teeth that you must hammer in yourself. So, I was very happy it was attached already. Not to mention it has a soft shell over the wire so that it does not scratch your walls.

~Review~ The COVERPLUG Outlet Covers

We just moved so I was excited to try these. I detest white outlet covers, cords on the walls, etc. This is a godsend for me. I could use about 50 of them. It's the simplest thing ever. Basically it's a flat outlet cover with a lip to go over your existing outlet cover. When you need the outlet you just remove it.

Step One...Paint your walls. Step Two...Paint the COVERPLUG. Step Three...Wait for it to dry. Step Four..Plug into outlet. That's it tada your done. The paint sticks well and dries quick. It leaves for an almost invisible outlet on your wall. This would be especially awesome in older houses where the outlets are everywhere or 3 foot high on your wall.

This would really be a plus for people with small children. They can not remove these and probably wouldn't notice them since they blend into the paint! I plan on getting a few more. Please learn more at the COVERPLUG website and you can buy them on Amazon!

I just love The Naturals. They are based out of Pennsylvania and offer twig wreaths and much much more. They send you a basic form for you to add onto and decorate however you wish. You can choose from beautiful spring baskets, window frames and stars. They even have a peace shaped wreath and a heart for Valentine's Day. They never cut down trees or bushes only trim and allow the plants to continue to grow and thrive. What a wonderful way to bring nature inside without disturbing it.

I chose to get the Fairy chair, which in my opinion was beautiful on it's own. I chose to leave it natural. It has copper wire on the back for hanging and when winter is over I plan to move it out to my garden. I just love the wild look it has. I can just imagine this spring when it's outside and surrounded by color.

If fits so well in my home filled with Antiques that I think I could use one in every room. I would love to get a basket to fill with pine cones, acorns and dried pomegranate's. This lingerie wash bag set comes with 4 Luxury Wash Bags, 2 Medium 12" x 15" white bags and 2 Large 16" x 19" white and black bags. Use the white wash bags for light-colored loads, and the black bag for dark-colored items. It has a zipped closure so it is snag free. The bags are a small mesh so nothing can get snagged by other item's in the wash either.

I tried mine out the first time with a super expensive pair of tights I bought from Japan. I haven't had great experience with this type of bag in the past so I was a little nervous. When I took the bag out the first thing I noticed was I hadn't got the zipped in the elastic closure completely. Luckily it barely touched the tights and so there were no big snags or holes. This was completely my fault. The second time I made sure to get the zipper inside the closure and it stayed put. No snags, clothes came out clean. In fact the tights from the first trial still looked new.

You can buy your own Delicates Wash Bag Set on Amazon. These are really great quality, nothing like the brands carried at the big box stores! I would certainly use them again!

~Review~ Bobee Momma & Baby Elephant Decals

I love decals. They are such a fun way to get art on your walls that isn't expensive. They are also easily removable. I got the momma and baby elephant from Bobee. The large elephant is 9" tall by 12" wide, the smaller elephant is 7" tall by 9" wide. Side-by-side, they are 21" wide. I was worried about how difficult these would be to put up, I actually put it off for awhile. I worried for nothing, the process took less than 5 mins. You just peel the top cover off and then firmly press a little at a time to the wall. Smooth with your hand as you go. Then remove the top layer and voila, Instant art! Seriously it was that easy! (Do make sure your wall is clean)

Peel off slowly just in case you missed a spot!

It's On Water, It's On!

So yesterday we think we finally have it. We ended up buying a new hot water heater after we opened up the electrical on the old one and it was full of water. YIKES! So all day it gets worked on because we've had enough. Don needs a shower and my fibromyalgia pain is out of control and I need a hot bath. I got so far as even cleaning the bathtub and getting excited. About 5 minutes into bathroom cleaning and you hear whooosh. I literally started crying. We found the leak on the hot water side right below the tub, no problem. We'll get to it in the morning, at least we have cold water. At least we can finally use the toilet. No problem all night, and this morning I get up and the toilet won't flush. Your kidding me right? NO I am not. I go running outside and the meter is screaming around. Go out back and we have a flood. Who knows how long this has been going on, could of been all night.

I could really use a hug right now.

Running Water and How much I miss it....

I've never really given a thought to having running water. I mean who does, it's just a fact of life today. You get a house, and you get water. It comes out hot when you need it, and cold when you don't. It's an endless supply, you can leave it on and it never stops coming, until one day it doesn't!

Don has been working on our pipes now for six days. That's right six days with no water, no bath, no showers, no dish water. Six days of ok, surely now it's fixed and an hour later when the test comes all you hear is screaming...TURN IT OFF, TURN IT OFF, as water pours out of another pipe somewhere else. This house only has one bathroom. Surely there can't be that much pipe left can there? Imagine if it had 2 or 3 bathrooms? I finally can appreciate having one bathroom for 10 people because it mean's there is less that can go wrong. Sad, that thought.

The second day of pipe obliteration saw us ripping up the bathroom floor because the people who owned this house thought it was a grand idea to put a bathroom on the old porch. Only the bathroom wasn't raised up, so all pipes rest on the COLD concrete porch. Why then do they wonder that the pipes all froze and burst? Am I the only person who looks at pipes on a COLD concrete floor and thinks, hey this is a pretty terrible idea? Apparently I am.

Poor Don has been working in the freezing cold wet ground day after day, trying to repair them. Then he whistles as he leaves for work. I think I need to follow in his footsteps, only I can't imagine whistling during this. I think I got the easy job, ripping up carpet and cleaning up the mess the people before us left. Can I say I never want pets again? Ok maybe I do, but long after this goes out of my head.
