~Review~ Ceol Waves Capo & Picks

~I received these products for my review, all opinions are 100% my own.~

I got the chance to try Ceol WavesTM Premium Zinc Alloy Capo and Premium Celluloid Guitar Picks. Phil graciously offered to try them out. The following is his honest opinion of both products. The Capo was really great, so many of them tend to slip on your guitar. This one stays put and doesn't slide around at all. It's easy to get on and off, and very sturdy. A lot of the time a Capo will cause buzzing but none of that with this one. Phil seemed to really like it and I don't think I will be getting it back anytime soon.

Phil is a picker so the guitar picks were not as good for his use as the capo. He lost it a few times while trying to play. He said they were very nice quality and would love to try a thinner size. His only complaint is that they were too smooth and he wished they were a little bit more textured. This would prevent slipping. They come in a nice velvet pouch for storage. That was a huge plus for Phil because like most of us he can never remember where he left them.

All in all we were both impressed with the good quality of these items. We both agreed we would buy other products from Ceol WavesTM.

Sashka Co ~Sweetheart Central Gift Guide Review~

~Valentine's Day Sweetheart Central Gift Guide Review~

~I received this for my honest review, all opinions are 100% my own.~

I just love this little beaded bracelet I got from Sashka Co. What makes me love it even more is that is handmade. Not only is it handmade but each purchase empowers Nepalese artisans to rise above poverty. This is done through fair trade. If you don't know much about fair trade you can read more about it on the Sashka Co website.

Each bracelet is handcrafted by artisans in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. Each bracelet is made with glass beads and crocheted. They are made to roll over your hand onto your wrist and have a perfect fit guarantee.

Looking closely at my bracelet you can see that it's crocheted very tight and has nice even beading. The pattern is just beautiful with a pink, clear and maroon color throughout. I have small hands and wrists so I was thrilled that this fits so well. It's such a sweet piece also. I would love to receive another one for Valentine's Day.

If you go to the Sashka Co website you can see all the great color combinations and patterns that you can buy. At $12 to $13 these are a great deal! The Red, White and Blue one is my favorite. You can see it and many more at Sashka Co.

Marshmallow Peeps ~Sweetheart Central Gift Guide Review~

~Valentine's Day Sweetheart Central Gift Guide Review~

~I received this product for my honest review, all opinions are 100% my own~

Peeps is such a holiday tradition for so many people. I don't remember a holiday as a child that Peeps weren't included. These days Peeps has so much more to offer Peeps lovers. My kids were super excited to try all the fun Valentine's Day offerings that Peeps has out. I (crazy mama alert) invited over a few of my daughters teenage friends for a "Let's try all the Peeps" party. Needless to say no one declined. So after a long day at school I had a house full of kids and out came the Peeps.

We had Peeps coming out our ear's...Peeps Marshmallow Hearts in Pink. These are the classic flavor and always a hit. The kids went through these in a flash. We got to try some different flavors like Strawberry Creme Flavored Marshmallow Hearts and Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Creme Covered Chicks.

Peeps Cherries Dipped and Drizzled in Chocolate and Chocolate Covered Raspberry Flavored Hearts were a huge hit. These got passed around the whole table. They loved the drizzled chocolate and the raspberry filling. They actually fought over them.

Hands down the winner of the day was the Peeps Vanilla Creme Flavored Marshmallow Hearts. They had such a different vanilla flavor. I can't explain it but I can tell you it was wonderful. Light and fluffy and with such a sweet but not overwhelming flavor. I would love these from my sweetheart!

KeySmart ~Sweetheart Central Gift Guide Review~

~Valentine's Day Sweetheart Central Gift Guide Review~

~I received this product for my honest review, all opinions are 100% my own~

KeySmart is a Made in The USA product. The goal is to a make lighter, less bulky way to carry your keys. We all have to carry keys so this product intrigued me. My first glance when I received this product was at how bright and shiny the color is. I chose green (my favorite color) for my KeySmart 2.0. It comes with a Expansion Pack and business card that tells you where you can go for detailed instructions.

Now most of you know we just moved, so I get to put my new house keys on my KeySmart. It was like a housewarming gift. I decided to go with three keys to test it out. My husband and my 16 year old daughter had it together in seconds. Apart, together, apart, together. The key is using a flat surface, align everything evenly and screw back together. They both said it was a piece of cake. I had trouble but as all my readers know I have severe joint and muscle pain. I kept losing the pieces and it was rather amusing my lack of coordination.

This is very light compared to my normal dangling key chain. I love the color I chose, it's such a pretty green. You can choose from 8 different colors, or Titanium. The frame is made out of aluminum and it includes stainless steel hardware. They have a few other options for add-on. You can choose a USB, a quick disconnect or lanyard, bottle opener, pocket clip or quick retract. I love the idea of the USB card. What a great gift for a teen going off to college, or for any man. It's to the point, something they appreciate.

You can see all the different options that they offer at

Take Me Home Tonight Blogger Opp

I am sorry to say, the event with Lush D├ęcor ‪#‎giveaway‬ event has been canceled. I dread even mentioning their name in advertisement any further as the "shopping experience" for me alone has been a nightmare of excuses as to why nothing works properly during checkout and why their items never ship from the warehouse.

Make Our Own Network takes a lot of pride in what we do for our readers and bloggers. There are dozens (yes dozens) of bloggers in our network who have had these very same issues working (or attempting to work) with this brand over the last month. I refuse to potentially advertise for a giveaway of a product that will never be received as well as a company who has taken advantage of so many bloggers in the process.

I know the bloggers on this team feel the same about making sure we advertising for ethical brands who follow through with their commitment to a prize. This will be the last we mention them moving forward.

~Review~ Bobee Momma & Baby Elephant Decals

~I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review, all opinions are 100% my own~

I love decals. They are such a fun way to get art on your walls that isn't expensive. They are also easily removable. I got the momma and baby elephant from Bobee. The large elephant is 9" tall by 12" wide, the smaller elephant is 7" tall by 9" wide. Side-by-side, they are 21" wide. I was worried about how difficult these would be to put up, I actually put it off for awhile. I worried for nothing, the process took less than 5 mins. You just peel the top cover off and then firmly press a little at a time to the wall. Smooth with your hand as you go. Then remove the top layer and voila, Instant art! Seriously it was that easy! (Do make sure your wall is clean)

Peel off slowly just in case you missed a spot!

I am still in shock of how easy this was! Bobee offers a few different options. You can get a whale, owls, giraffe's, Polka dots, Custom names, and sayings. I love the elephants though! The cost was only $12.99 and it would be well worth it! Bobee is sold on Amazon so you can also take advantage of free Amazon Prime shipping! Bobee is a small business run by a mom. She offers a 2 year guarantee that they will remove from your wall with no damage or residue.
