Best Candles EVER- Southwestern Style with Ocotillo Southwest Candles and Sprays

I received these free for my honest and unbiased review.

Let me just start out by saying my husband hates candles and yet he asked me to buy more of these. Normally when I bring home a candle he makes a face and cringes. Not this time, this time he asked me what other southwestern scents they had. I let him pick the scent for this one, which was Native Piñon Pine. I have to say having moved to Missouri I miss the smell of Colorado. The instant I pulled one of these candles out the smell of pine tree struck me in an instant. Now I have had some supposed pine tree candles that smelled nothing like a pine tree. I was terrified this would be one of those candles. I was dead wrong, this smells exactly like a Piñon Pine tree, and when I say exact I mean exact. I lit this in my living room and the whole room instantly smelled like my beautiful mountains of Colorado. Enough so that my kids came downstairs saying it smelled like the Rocky Mountains in our house, needless to say they took the other candle.

I had to go see what else this company has to offer, these candles come in a variety of awesome scents like Sopapillas and Honey...My mouth is drooling. You can also get the fun scent of Tres Leches or the sweet smell of Prickly Pear Blossom. Let me tell you if you have not tasted or smelled Prickly Pear your missing out. I have a number of other scents on my list....Rocky Mountain Breeze being next after this delightful Piñon Pine.

This is a beautiful two pack set. They come in Mason Jars, with lids and a beautiful little hand stamped copper charm. These are just beautiful and will be going on my Christmas tree this year. Each set of two comes with a wick dipper. Mine was shaped like a heart and so sweet. The candles burn for a long time considering the size. There is just nothing bad I can say about these candles. I love the scent, colors, extras, and look. They match my primitive and southwestern country home perfectly. I already have some more candles on order for presents this Christmas.

Review of 3D Drawing Pen

I received this product free for my honest and unbiased review.

This is one of the coolest things that I have seen in a while! I have to admit that when I opened the box I was a little skeptical. After I got started, i changed my mind and didn't want to stop playing with it. This is a great way to do art, it lets my creativity run wild. After I had read the instructions, I began to create. The instructions are pretty straight forward and the pen is easy to set up, then you're off and running.

I can see my drawings in 3D now and that is awesome! It takes a little practice to get used to the flow of the filament but after that it's super easy. Another thing to get used to is holding it comfortably, the feed button is on the side, not the top. My kids are gonna love it though! I absolutely recommend playing with this to every kind of artist.

Adorable Crocheted Baby Costumes by Dealzip

~I received this free for my honest and unbiased review. All opinions are 100% my own.~

This was just too Adorable..I just can not tell you how cute this was. I bought the Monkey Costume to use for Halloween. My son is a super small one year old and this fit him just fine. I would say it would be slightly big on a newborn and more for a 3-6 month old in size. I would also say it would fit up to 12 months. I got an adorable monkey hat and braided sides, and bold beautiful color. The bottoms were just like a diaper cover, it had a hand made button and then you just fit the extra parts of fabric over and through. I thought that this would not hold at all, especially with my older monkey boy. It did though very well. Attached to the bottom was a fun colorful tail. It was stiff and sewed on very well. I did not think about the fact that my son would be sitting and then was worried it would bother him, but it did not. He loved the outfit and he matched his older brother for Halloween.

I thought for the cost this set was a super good deal and I was so happy with it. I think it was well sewn and crocheted and went together hat and tail perfectly. This was perfect for a photo shoot and oh so adorable. My son got a lot of attention in his costume and I would buy another!

~Review~ Tons of New Toys from Airsoft Joe on Amazon

I received these free for my honest and unbiased review.

So I just got a ton of fun new toys to review! My kids are just having a blast with them and have been trying them out for a couple weeks now. Up first is the 10 Piece Metal Toy Kitchenware Play Set by Velocity Toys. This set looks totally real only miniature pots and pans. So when your cooking your child can cook right along with you. The set comes with pots, pans, a lid, a strainer, some utensils, and a pot holder. These are very nicely made. They are a good quality and hold up well. They are metal and solid so nothing will break, unlike the cheaply made plastic sets. My kids love to stay in the kitchen while daddy is cooking and help. But sometimes that is just not a reality, so this set has been a life saver keeping them busy so they don't get hurt. I can tell this set is going to last through the years and multiple kids. It's easy to store and small for the little one's but so realistic they think they have the real thing.

Next up is the Drum Play Set w/ 6 Drums, Cymbal, Chair, Kick Pedal, Drumsticks by Velocity Toys. I have to say out of everything we got this toy was a kid favorite. Teddy who normally lays right down for his nap was NOT happy to leave his drums. The little stool is the perfect size for smaller kids and the drum set itself is a great size. We loved the little drumsticks. They are just long enough and wide enough for small hands. The drum set itself is plastic, but my little two have been beating it (to what seems like death) and it is still in good shape. I would recommend gluing the pieces together for long time setup so they stay together better but even if you don't it really stays up. It was also easy to put together and there are directions on the box itself.

My little one's have been playing with it all day today and its all still together. It did not take long for them to figure out how it works and unlike a real drum set this one is not super loud. So the kids can play with it all day without giving mom and dad a headache. It takes up very little space so can go right in the bedroom. It's a great learning toy and a huge hit in our house.

Up next we got a Double Neck Flaming Rock 'n Roll Toy Guitar. This one went over as well as the drums. It lights up and makes a lot of different sounds. They can basically pick from a ton of different things. Each button plays something different. It takes three AAA batteries which you need to provide. It comes with a neck strap that snaps on but will come off easy so no worries about them getting stuck with it around their neck. This one just makes you laugh, all the lights and different things it does. The kids just kept pushing it and between this and the drums had a whole band going! It is plastic but seems to be very well made and I think will survive the beatings of little kids. It was easy for them to hold and not too heavy. It's fun and cool to look at and play and they just love that. Rocking out and learning a love for music is a wonderful thing for any child.

We also got a Bow and Arrow Dart Playset w/ Suction Dart Arrows. I loved these when I was a kid, didn't you? This is just a fun and inexpensive toy that any kid will love. It comes with three arrows (with suction cup ends) a arrow holder, a bow and a cardboard target. The target is really too small for the set, but my kids really did not care. The all went outside with this set and their wooden gun sets and ran around playing. Its a good thick plastic bow so I think it will last quite awhile, at some point I see having to replace the arrows but that's understandable. The bow can be adjusted and has an easy grip for a small child. To use the arrows you just pull thru the hole and the arrows have a notch to attach them to the string (which is nylon). The arrow holder has a loop for their belt which makes it even more realistic. This is kind of fun pre scouting toy to me. My boys just loved it and like all the toys I got it was a hit!

Lastly we got a Rocket Shark Retro Cruiser Complete Banana Skateboard w/ Aluminum Trucks. This was tons of fun. My kids have skateboard but this one is different from a normal skateboard. The color is fun and my husband loves the better quality of the wheels, trucks and bearings. This skateboard will last my sons for a good long time and now the little one wants to learn. He likes it because it's bright and colorful but also looks similar to the big boys.

This is a great old fashioned banana board and made perfectly for smaller kids. It has a pattern on the top which provides good grip for the kids just learning. It has wide wheels for better balance. It has a high weight limit which means any of the kids can use it and not just the younger one. So while the younger one's are learning the older ones can show them how it's done!

You can buy any of these sets on Amazon.

~Review~ The Proposal at Siesta Key by Shelley Shepard Gray

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

I adore Shelley Shepard Gray's books. This series is no exception.I have already reviewed book one earlier this year. I just love how her stories flow and how uplifting they are. This like the other books teaches us how to go on with our lives and that better things are always to come. It teaches us love, compassion and how to follow your dreams. It also teaches us the importance of loved ones and the time we have with them. I don't want to give the whole book away but just now, you will love it as much as all of the others. Just a loving, uplifting addition to an already good series!

About the book: The Proposal at Siesta Key (Avon Inspire, May 2015) A young Amish woman, yearning for freedom, crosses paths with a handsome Mennonite celebrity in a deeply moving tale of friendship and self-discovery---the second installment in the unforgettable New York Times bestselling author's new Amish Brides of Pinecraft series.

Penny Troyer rarely disobeys her parents. In the years since her sister's tragic death, they've wanted nothing more than to keep her safe...even if it means never leaving the house. But tonight, she's bending the rules because Michael Knoxx, the most famous member of The Knoxx Family Singers, a traveling Mennonite Evangelical family ---is scheduled to speak. Penny has heard of Michael---how he lost part of his leg in a terrible accident and uses the experience to inspire others---and knows she must meet him. So, for the first time ever, Penny stands up to her parents and goes out on her own. Though he speaks about living life to the fullest, Michael knows he needs to take his own advice. Life on the road is grueling and Michael wants to slow down, to perhaps meet someone who sees him as a man, not just a celebrity. So when a twist of fate allows him the chance to stay a little longer in Pinecraft, Michael knows God is showing him a new path, especially when he discovers how much he and Penny Troyer have in common.

But new friendships can't stop time. Soon, Michael's time in Pinecraft will be over and he'll be back on the road. Her time with Michael has brought her happiness, but will she be able to follow her heart? Or will she be faced with the one thing she's sure she'll never have the courage to do?

About the author:

Shelley Shepard Gray is a two-time New York Times bestseller, a two-time USA Today bestseller, a finalist for the American Christian Fiction Writers prestigious Carol Award, and a two-time Holt Medallion winner. She lives in Southern Ohio, where she writes full-time, bakes too much, and can often be found walking her dachshunds on her town's bike trail.

~Review~ Hutterite Diaries by Linda Maendel

I received this for my honest and unbiased review.

I love this kind of book. Real details about a plain and simple life. This one does not draw you in as quick. It's more of a read a bit here, read a bit there kind of book. The author is basically telling you things she remembers from her Hutterite Community. It was a sweet read but not as detailed as I had expected it to be. There is a question and answer at the very end, but it's also not super detailed. It was very interesting though. If your just interested in reading some good short non fiction stories, then you will adore this book. It makes you wish and hope for a plain and simple life.

About the Author

Linda Maendel is a Hutterite author, blogger, and educator who lives in Elm River Colony outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

About The Book

What would it be like to share all your possessions and live in Christian community? In Hutterite Diaries, Linda Maendel offers a rare glimpse into the daily routines and communal faith of her people, the Hutterian Brethren. From stories of working together to bring in the fall potato harvest to laugh-out-loud tales of sisterly love laced with revenge, Maendel invites readers into her Bruderhof, or colony, nestled on the prairie of western Canada. Here children and adults work, play, eat, and worship together, crafting a community of goods and living out an alternative to the individualism and consumerism of mainstream society.

Few outsiders know anything about the Hutterites, a Plain Christian group related to the Amish and Mennonites. Maendel's story invites readers into deeper understanding of this community of faith, calling us to take seriously the example of Jesus and the early church in our daily living.

Hear straight from plain Christians as they write about their daily lives and deeply rooted faith in the Plainspoken series from Herald Press. Each book in the series includes "A Day in the Life of the Author" and the author's answers to FAQs.

~Review~ Jody Hedlund's Hearts Made Whole

I received this free for my honest and unbiased review.

This book just touched me heart and soul. As a women it is so hard to think we can not do what men can do. I can not even imagine not being allowed to try. Hearts Made Whole was just full of such beautiful emotion. I had such respect for Caroline and then such sadness for her. I can not even imagine if all of that trauma had happened to me, and how I would react. The writing in this book just speaks to you. Its one of those you do not want to put down. I love and hated Ryan all at the same time. The story just drew you in to sides, until finally you were rooting for the both of them. The story speaks so greatly of loss and heartbreak, but also of renewal and compassion. I just love Jody Hedlund's writing style. It just keeps you wanting more.

Book Excerpt

1865 Windmill Point, Michigan

Can She Forgive the Hurting Man Who Costs Her the Role She Loves?

After her father's death, Caroline Taylor has grown confident running the Windmill Point Lighthouse. But in 1865 Michigan, women aren't supposed to have such roles, so it's only a matter of time before the lighthouse inspector appoints a new keeper--even though Caroline has nowhere else to go and no other job available to her.

Ryan Chambers is a Civil War veteran still haunted by the horrors of battle. He's secured the position of lighthouse keeper mostly for the isolation--the chance to hide from his past is appealing. He's not expecting the current keeper to be a feisty and beautiful woman who's angry with him for taking her job and for his inability to properly run the light. When his failings endanger others, he and Caroline realize he's in no shape to run the lighthouse, but he's unwilling to let anyone close enough to help. Caroline feels drawn to this wounded soul, but with both of them relying on that single position, can they look past their loss to a future filled with hope...and possibly love?

My Beautiful win from Divining Oil Designs!

I received nothing from this post, this was an actual contest that I won online.

How many of you use Essential Oils everyday like I do? Well you should go look at Divining Oil Designs. Ginny who owns the company creates beautiful pieces of jewelry art with stones. Each piece (including mine) is hand created for you. No two pieces are alike. She combines Semi Precious Stones with Essential Oils to help aid with specific wellness concerns. This is totally geared towards you and your needs.

My custom made bracelet includesd amethyst, jade, crystal and rose quartz. These are all stones I picked and felt drawn to. I also received a wonderful Wild Orange Essential Oil to go with it, that I can put on the lava rock. If you order one you will received a vial of an essential oil of your choosing.

On her Divining Oil Designs website you can find a page of some stones she offers and what they can be used for. I loved reading it, and then asking her if what I liked would work for me. She is a wealth of knowledge about stones and oils. I ended up with Amethyst which is a natural stress reliever, and encourages inner strength. This is something I struggle with due to my medical issues. Crystal Quartz for protection against negativity. Rose Quartz opens the heart to all types of love – love of self, family, friends, and romantic. Rose Quartz has high energy but is calming and soothing at the same time. Love of self is something I have always struggled with and so that is the reason for this choice.

She also includes a page of essential oils and how they work. I was sent Wild Orange (part of my prize) which is wonderful for me because I have a bad immune system. My favorite essential oil though is Clary Sage which lifts your mood. Let me tell you after falling low into depression and having severe anxiety basically every day this works wonders. As soon as my bracelet arrived I put some on the lava rock. It is almost an instant mood changer!

If you interested in getting a piece for yourself you can see some pre-made pieces on the Divining Oil Design website. She is also branching out into Barefoot sandals and other fun things. Did I mention that her prices are excellent? Go look for yourself. Please tell her Rebecca at Primitive Gypsy sent you!

Also check out Divining Oil Designs on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest!

~Review~ Lift Care Lemon Essential Oil

I received this free for my honest and unbiased review.

In our house we love essential oils. I have a diffuser in ever room and there are so many uses. I use this particular one (lemon) as a household cleaner mixed with vinegar and water. I just put it in a spray bottle and use it anywhere that I need to clean or disinfect. I also love to use citrus oils in my diffusers. This one has a good strong real lemon peel smell to it. It mixes well with many other oils, and especially other citrus oils. This lemon oil will wake you up and keep you going when you need an energy boost. It's very refreshing and keeps you alert.

This seems to be a pretty good quality oil by Lift Care and I have been happy with the results I have gotten using it. It does come with a glass dropper. You can get your own on
