~Review~ Fine Art Photography by WendyPCreations

~I received this for my honest review, all opinions are 100% my own.~

We love photography in our house so I was glad to get this for review. WendyPCreations is an photographer who sells her work on Etsy. I chose Hell's Hollow Waterfall in Pennsylvania to buy. It's beautiful. Nice sharp bright colors, and focus. The photo looks so lush and I could just picture myself there in it.

It comes matted when you order in a photo mailer. The Matte is a very nice quality and thick. This photo is a 5"x 7" size but you can get other sizes. It is ready to put up when you get it. The cost is very good for the quality you receive. She has a number of beautiful selections to choose from. There are a number of new one's that are listed now I would of loved to of ordered before.

You can find your own beautiful Matted Photo from WendyPCreations on Etsy.

~DIY~New Custom Fabrics By Zazzle

~If you click these links and make a purchase, I will receive a small commission.~

I was so excited to find out that Zazzle is now offering custom fabrics. They have a HUGE selection, all different styles. I am always looking for something fun and new for Do it Yourself projects. They offer cotton, linen and polyester. You can find quilting, upholstery, and drapery fabric, and if that doesn't satisfy your creative side you can custom design your own fabrics.

I chose Abraham Lincoln Portrait Fabric and a beautiful Old Music Note fabric which comes in Bach or Chopin. You all know how well these fit my DIY projects. I couldn't wait to try them out. This is super nice quality fabric. Your not going to get anything even close anywhere else.

Would you like to make one yourself? You can order any fabric on Zazzle...and then follow these simple steps.

1- Choose any Zazzle Fabric(s).

2- Rip fabric in a width slightly smaller than what your want to cover.

3- Stitch up the back, this doesn't need to be perfect or even, and actually the less it is the better it looks.

4- I almost always add a second layer of plain fabric. The Mocha Brown and White Classic Ticking Stripes Fabric is great and matches a Primitive style perfectly. Or they have plenty of simple browns.

5- Stitch on your patch (like my Abraham Lincoln Portrait Fabric) or plain. A nice straight stitch will do

6- Coffee Dye Time. I use apprx half a jar of instant coffee, pot of water, a few drops of brown paint and one drop of black paint. Stir, test on a plain piece of fabric. Add more water, coffee or paint till it's a desired color.

7- Dip your item and then put up to dry. If you want it dark you can let it soak. If you want it light dip and remove and then push excess stain off.

That's it. If you mess up quickly rinse your project and start the dye process over.

There are over 3000 styles to choose from. Right now if you use the code STPADDYSDEAL you will get 17% off any order. Be quick this deal ends on St. Patrick's Day!

Review & Giveaway Mickel Yantz LLC Print

Who else loves artwork? I'm a sucker for a good print and I secretly have an obsession with sugar skulls. My husband also loves them and so when we married I now have a valid reason to buy them. I buy them for him and enjoy them in secret. You can't imagine how funny it is to see a house full of primitive antique's from the 1700-1800's and then a random sugar skull collection. Ok, it's not the only random collection...

For Christmas I ordered this beautiful Batman sugar skull print from Mickel Yantz LLC on etsy. It was a gift for my husband. I happened to contact him directly because the print I wanted had sold. He was gracious enough to put up a new one from me. It was very hard to hide this print until Christmas. I wanted nothing more than to give it to him the day it arrived. I was good though. Christmas Day came and finally I could give it to my husband. I can't even tell you how thrilled he was. Two of his favorite things in one print. First words out of his mouth were, Can we get more? Well YES!

Included with my husband's print was this card featuring his artwork and on the back a handwritten note and drawing. Honestly for me as an artist living in a house full of artists this was the BEST part! A handwritten/hand drawn note is more precious than gold! Not to mention how thoughtful that he took time out of his busy schedule to jot a quick personalized note.

His shop on etsy is filled with all manner of wonderful pop culture prints...These are a few of my favorites. 13 Disney Villains Sugar Skull Print

No artwork collection (In my opinion) is complete without a little Hello Kitty.

Or a Star Wars Darth Vader Sugar Skull ...I mean that's just a classic for anyone.

Certainly in our household no room is without some Harry Potter memorabilia. Lord Voldemort Sugar Skull Print

You can also find different Little People, Football, and other pop culture prints featuring Disney Villians, Superhero's and Science Fiction characters. The quality of the prints is wonderful, great clarity and color. Color is much more vivid than you can see in these photos. Each print comes packaged in archival, acid free bag With an acid free backer card. They also come signed by the artist.

Mickel Yantz LLC has graciously offered my readers a chance to win a print from his etsy shop. You will be able to choose any 11x14 or 11x17 print.
