Since I have installed a bar in my basement, I have been wanting an elegant storage piece for my aged scotch. When I got this oak barrel I knew that I had found more than I had hoped for. Just from looking at it, I could see the level of craftsmanship and pride that went into its making. And with its great little stand, I know the whole thing is going to be a conversation piece for years to come.
Upon opening the cork, I could smell the wonderful char from the inside. The coopers that made this really put some love into their work. I love how airtight this barrel is, even after soaking it for two days. This will certainly keep my scotch from turning for a good long while. The spout is perfect and doesn't even need waxing before you can use it. It really does class up my little bar.
If I could give this more than five stars, I would! This really has my friends and family talking. If you have a particular favorite liquor that needs great storage with an interesting appeal, I highly recommend this cask. I am so enamored by this barrel, that I'm buying one for my father in law for his private blend of whiskey. And of course, I'll be getting more for my own stocks.

We collect glasses in our house....Photo's, different colors, etc but my favorite one's are the funny one's! The "What Night?" Funny Wine Glass from Got Me Tipsy is my new favorite. The bottom reads Good Night, then the middle line is Great Night and the top line says What Night? I prefer my drinks at What Night level! But sometimes you can get away with just a Good or Great night. I love to have a glass of wine at night and now I laugh every time I have my wine in the "What Night?" Funny Wine Glass.
This is a very nice quality glass. It's sturdy but without being too heavy and the writing isn't going anywhere. It's dishwasher safe! This is not a cheap gag gift, this is a nice high quality wine glass that just happen's to be funny! This glass also chill's nicely. I prefer my wine chilled. It comes wrapped in bubble wrap and in a box. I don't think you could break it in shipping if you tried. It's packaged very nicely.
