You gotta admit this brush is just fun to look at. I am so glad it works on top of being fun. My son has super curly, ringlet hair and hates to have it brushed. I decided to let him play with this one first. He loved the fact that it had a mirror on the back and looked in it for awhile. The mirror is bigger than your average compact mirror and can be used for a lot of things.

The bristles are kind of jagged and all different colors. I let me son try it first and he brushed as well as he can at two. Then I brushed his hair. He did not move, flinch or cry and it seemed to feel good to him. Most brushes make him tear up. I always feel so bad, but not with this brush. It is now his favorite brush and then one he picks when it is time to brush his hair.

~Review~ 100% Authentic Tencel Bed Sheet Set

I received these for my honest review, all opinions are 100% my own.

I have to say I was worried. So many times I review sheets and they are ugly and uncomfortable. These sheets by Yorkshire-Mayfair are so wonderful. I received a set in a bright orange color. While they do not match anything I own I honestly did not care. As soon as I took them out I could see how wonderful they were. I put them on my bed right away. They are a deep pocket fit so will work on pillow top mattresses. They fit fairly loose on my normal Queen mattress.

I had to lay down and try them. They are so soft, and super silky feeling. But not like silk where you slide off onto the floor and lose your pillows. These are soft and smooth but you stay put. They really are super nice quality. They are well stitched and just look lovely. I plan on buying more in a color that suits my bedroom.

~Review~ Hers By Herman Womens Sexy Leupurrrrrd Bra & Thong Set

As always Hers by Herman provides exceptional quality for a low cost. I have really enjoyed all the sets I have bought from them and this one is no exception. This set comes with a light padded push up style hot pink and black leopard print bra and a matching pink and black thong panty. The style is very fun and flirty and I really enjoy the color and look of this set.

The fabric is super soft and a shiny material. It has good and comfortable adjustable straps. The straps are hot pink, and the bra has a hot pink bow on the front. The bra has some padding for lift and underwire. The panty also has a hot pink bow, and is soft and not uncomfortable to wear. It has a wider thong but is pliable. The set looks adorable on and I think it fits pretty true to size.

I am always terrified I will scratch my screen. When your paying a couple hundred dollars for a tablet or a phone you can not help but worry. I got to test out the .intelliGLASS Hardened Glass Screen Protector and I was curious just from the name alone. So they sent me the iPhone 4 screen protector set.

This screen protector is very thin and totally clear, no frost which drives me insane. It is made from a silicone base layer which adheres well to your phone, the screen protector itself is made of real glass. It seems to be very scratch resistant, no scratches that I can see. It also seems to stay clear of finger prints and makeup smudges. It has an Oleophobic coating that repels fingermarks. It is also very easy to apply. I did not have any issues at all getting it on, there was no bubbles or wrinkles.

The package includes intelliGLASS screen protector, Touch screen cleaner, Dust removal tape, a Microfiber Cloth and intelliARMOR home buttons. For best results I suggest you clean your phone before applying. Can I just say the price is amazing. For this kit, the price is a steal because it is a really nice screen protector.

~Review~4 Port USB Wall Charger with SmartLiz Technology

I LOVE getting new chargers. This one is one of my new favorites. It has four ports and is black and only takes one plug. The best thing is you can charge any items on it a once. So for example my daughter and husband can each charge a tablet and a phone all at the same time. This charges pretty quickly compared to other chargers like this we have used. It also has two fast port chargers. This is so useful if you forgot to charge your phone the night before and are in a hurry.

Something I really like is the plug prongs flip down for storage. Easy to store, no worries about kids plugging it in. Very good child safety feature. We use this charger daily in my house and have now for a month. It still works as well as the day I got it. I plan on buying 2-3 more and for the low price, who wouldn't?

I just love this author. This book starts out pretty quickly and jumps you right in. Unlike most books you feel as if you have know the main characters forever. I truly love the way she ties them all in together in the most unexpected way. She has a real knack for a good revolving story line. I love the whole idea behind the reporter Briley trying to discredit the community but instead learning some good lessons of his own. As with all her books, I just loved this one. It is a great story, with wonderful messages.

~Review~ Camping Folding Shovel Pick With Compass

We camp ALOT...every year. It is one of our favorite things to do as a family. We also prefer backwoods tent camping so the equipment you need for that is not the same as your run of the mill electrified campgrounds. I was offered to test this Camping Folding Shovel Pick With Compass by CLD Brands and knew it would come in handy.

This is a mini shovel. It comes apart in a small bag with a velcro closure. It is small enough to fit in your pocket, glove box, truck, you can attach to your belt or put it just about anywhere. As you will see in the video it takes seconds to put together. You basically just screw it together. It is easy enough for anyone to do. The shovel works as a shovel, pick, saw, bottle opener and compass. This would make an excellent addition to an emergency kit. It could be a life savor if you get stuck somewhere in the winter.

Now for the down sides. This is too small to be super helpful in a really tough spot. It has some plastic, and the compass well yes I would not rely on it for guidance. I suggest packing a better one. But for back packing, camping or just an emergency this is a great tool and a great price.

~Review~ Azure Naturals Retinol Anti Wrinkle Serum & Cucumber Eye Brightening Gel

Lets start with the Azure Naturals ULTIMATE RETINOL Anti Wrinkle Serum. I love a good face serum. Even without a quick return they are good for your face, and a great routine to keep. Something I LOVE about this face serum is what it does not have in it. There is no alcohol and no parabens. It is totally plant based. NO GMO's and not tested on animals.

I love how this serum feels. It comes out in a small line of serum. It takes just a small amount to cover your face. You can instantly feel your skin start to tighten. My skin did not feel greasy at all. It felt clean and looked fresh. I have super sensitive skin and am allergic to many things in skin products. This did not bother me at all. There was no real scent here either. Perfect for people with allergies. I will certainly be using it daily. I prefer to use it at night now and love feeling my skin feel great at bedtime.

I also got the Azure Naturals Cucumber Infused ULTIMATE PEPTIDE Eye Brightening Gel to try out. Now if you have read my blog before you know that I LOVE eye gels. They are one of my favorite beauty products and I rarely find a new one I can use because I am allergic to coconut. This one is free of anything I am allergic too. I felt a tightening around my eye the instant I put this one on. It did not even take a minute. I use this twice a day, you can put makeup on over it and it actually will stay on better than without it. It has a very refreshing but light cucumber scent. You may use it as an all over facial serum, but I like using a combination of both myself.

~Review~ Yumms! Grill Mats, Burger Press and BBQ Grill Light & Giveaway!

Just in time for summertime I was given the chance to try some great BBQ products from Yumms! They sent me Grill Mats, a BBQ Grill Light and a Burger Press. My husband was very excited to get to try these out yesterday.

First up is the two piece set of of BBQ grill mats. These are non stick and are super easy to clean. You just lay these on the grill and keep the meat or veggies, etc on the mat and not falling through to the coals. The mats also block any ash from rising through to your meat when using wood or charcoal. The mat also makes for even cooking compared to open grilling. These can withstand heat of up to 450 degrees. The BEST thing about them is you can cut them to fit any size or shape of grill. We have a round grill so shaped them round. When your done since they are flat you can store them just about anywhere.

Next we got a really nifty BBQ light for your grill. This is adjustable so can be attached to most anywhere. It fits perfectly on the handle of any grill but We put ours on a pole next to our grill. It comes with a screw driver for the battery cover and is easy to remove and replace batteries. It can be used in the rain and is perfect for those late night, Hey a hamburger sounds good kind of nights. It is very bright and you can see much more than just your grill. It honestly just makes a good deck/patio light when your not grilling.

Lastly the Yumms! Burger Press. These make a perferct 4 oz burger, and also have an insert to make smaller burgers which is helpful for feeding young children. It is very compact and all fits together to store easy. It has rubber grips on the bottom which keep it from slipping while in use. It was so easy our two year old was able to help daddy make hamburgers. I would highly recommend using wax paper or something similar to make the burger slide out easier. In order to use start balled up hamburger mix and your spices, etc. You place on the press, put the top with handle down on burger. Gently press it down, and slowly pull up. If you want to make a smaller burger, put the insert in the bottom of the press before adding your meat.

~Review~ Aroma Trees Premium Home & Bathroom Fragrance Room Sprays

~I received this at a discount for my honest and unbiased review. All opinions are 100% my own.~

I have to say I was pleasantly shocked with this Aroma Trees Apple Room Spray. I love Room sprays but some of them are so strong you want to be sick or they last for like a minute and then need to be sprayed again. Most just mask odor and then smell terrible. This one smells delicious. I am not kidding you my bathroom smelled like a kitchen with baking happening in it. The scent was strong but not over powering.

I got the 2oz bottle and I thought it would be way to small but it honestly does not take more than one small spray. It has a nice simple brown bottle with an easy to read label. It can just be left out in your bathroom, kitchen, etc. I think these would also be great to keep in your car. It is small enough to store in the glove box or center console.

I tried this in our bathroom, and I just went and checked it. I sprayed it around 1pm, and it is now 10 pm and the scent is still strong and noticeable. That's excellent! You can try it for yourself on Amazon.

~Review~ Anavita Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream

I am always looking for good moisturizer's. I am not the kind of woman that has 100 and the stash keeps growing. I like to find one I love and stick to it. Sadly the one I used to love no longer seems to work for me. So I was glad to try the Anavita Moisturizing Anti-Wrinkle Cream and see if it could be a replacement for me.

This is a good sized jar. I would not call it large, but it is larger than some of the others I have tried that are high end. I opened it up and liked the soft cucumber scent that it has. It is not strong at all and just smells nice and fresh. I see visions of women with cucumber's on their eyes. The cream itself spreads well. It does not take hardly any cream to cover your entire face. The first time I used it I just used the excess stuck to the seal lid and it covered my face and neck totally.

Pretty much right away I felt a tightening to my skin. I would say maybe 1-2 hours later. My skin feels firmer and smoother. I would not say my wrinkles are magically gone but I can feel and see a difference after about a week. Just a small decrease in the lines especially by my mouth and eyes. The only downfall I see at all to this cream is while it wicks into your skin quickly it leaves a light greasy feeling on your face. One thing that does though is helps your makeup blend in better. The only time it bothered me was at night. It made me feel as if my face was not clean.

Ok first things first this app is based on Montessori learning Meaning your kids get a say, they get a choice in how they learn. This app has so many great features. It is pretty simple to get around in. My 2 year old picked it up quickly. He loves the tracing features and used this for awhile. I think he will be writing in no time. The characters are fun and it is all bright and kept him interested. We all know with a two year old that is not easy. The animation is very well done compared to most kids apps. There is a ton of games they can play, and each one teaches something differently, thus pulling in the Montessori education style. If you have more than one kid that will be playing you can make other profiles for them. I love that since I have 8 kids. This is basically like a worksheet app. We just love it, perfect for travel, the doctors or in the car.

Bugs, Shapes and Robots Face Paint for Toddlers

Another wonderful app for toddlers. We just loved the animations and colors of this app. Nikolas' favorite part is the fireflies you collect. I can not wait to see how he reacts when he gets to let them go free. Again I think his favorite thing was the tracing. He is pretty good with a pen so I know he will be writing in no time with the help of this app. This one does shapes, and quite a bunch of shapes way more than just circle, square and triangle. I appreciate that they did some extra ones. This one also allows for multiple profiles for other kids and you can track what your kids have down on the app. This app is just fun!

~Review~ Rid-Tech Ultrasonic Pest Repeller

I gotta admit, I will try anything to not deal with a multitude of bugs. I detest them. I did not want this so much for the mice, just the bugs. I can handle mice and well we have a cat. But bugs make me squirm. When we moved here and I realized you had to check yourself daily for ticks I almost passed out. Bleech! Needless to say when they offered to let me try the Rid-Tech Ultrasonic Pest Repeller I said YES PLEASE!

So at first I was going to use it in my room, (which I should of looking back)but then I decided I would really rather not have bugs in my kitchen. So we plugged it in on the kitchen counter by our sink. The cupboard there is where most of our food is stored. We have a very small pantry area because we rarely buy any kind of processed, canned, or boxed foods. So basically we have the basics, flour, sugar, etc.

We have been having quite an issue with ants and while I still had some ants here and there, no like huge ant trails, no gnats, etc in the kitchen since we plugged it in. So while I would not say it totally eliminated the bugs it certainly keep them at bay. It is small and makes no noise at all. It would basically blend in to most walls.

A great advantage to the Rid-Tech Ultrasonic Pest Repeller is that it is non toxic and not harmful to your family or your pets. It works by sonic waves instead of nasty chemicals. You would need one per room, two for large spaces like a garage or attic. For my kitchen which is pretty big, just one worked fine. So just so I do not leave you hanging two night ago they cat was going crazy in our bedroom. We were laughing until my husband heard a "Squeak". So I guess you can say we also have a Rid-Tech Ultrasonic Pest Repeller in our room...only for mice! Good Kitty!
